your midrange a/f ratio is rediculously aggressive! and how come you post this on every forum known to man?

Well the midrange dip you see was due to fuel pressure loss at that spot. The stock fuel pump has since been replaced. 14:1 is a bit lean for this engine under boost, but its not ridiculous. This particular engine likes the AFR @ 13:1, as evident by the torque peak at that spot. Any good experienced tuner knows you don't tune for a certain AFR, you tune for peak torque at all points and then you go a few steps richer for safety. Tuning for 11:1 AFR cause your car is turbo is one of the biggest misconceptions in the industry! The other big misconception is the one about the leaner you go the more power you make (i have seen this BS printed in reputable magazines, couldn't believe it). This does not happen, if your too lean you will start losing power.

I didn't post this on every forum known to man, but one of my distributors did. He just wants to let the world know whats up with these new tC's! What better way than the World Wide Web! Shoot, I even saw this info on a forum in Germany! Sweet. I just reply to the forums where people are most interested in what we are doing.

We don't only work on Scion's either we work on all types of cars including Mazda's.

when are you going to market the kit -- ??
maybe Scion will sponcer you and make it a dealer add on -- hehehehe
is there a site with more info - thanks

I wish our Mazda F/I threads/Rides were getting the same multiple community interest...I guess the tC has more mainstream appeal...regardless...Nice Ride (thumb)

well part of it is we ralize theres other cars out there with potential, ive been to several other forums and they dont like to acnowledge competition exists, and if they do its to complain or poke fun.

i love my 5 but i have realized that its just too damn expencive to beef up -- im not looking to sell or trade --- just like reading about how far some of these other engines are being pushed before --- BOOM

if Mazda had not cheated us on the rod strength ---- would would be boosting with confidence ----

All updates are available on www.ScionSpeed.com

Pricing is now available for the kit.

thanks -- thats awsome

So the one that made 327hp -- was that the stage 2 or 3
and does your test mule have forged internals??
if you got 327 off the stock internals and feel that it could hold -- that would be way Hotttt :)

Made 327whp on the stage 2 system. Tester is bone stock internals. Just hit 10,000 miles, which was our testing goal for the kit. That is what we were waiting on to release pricing. Although our tester is ok at this HP level to sustain over 300whp i would highly suggest upgrades like clutch, and stiffer valvespring set, and also we recommend the Phantom grip limited slip, and engine mount upgrades. As for the stage 3 turbo I would say these upgrades are required.

thats nice -- 300whp on stock motor --
i would need forged internals in my p5 for 300whp
thats a good deal you have for the kit -- you get everything except the cluch and springs ---

Props too you Bro (drinks)
---- Keep us ( Me ) imformed when you get to the stage 3 monster :)

Hey just updating you guys. Now have the tc up to 14psi of boost and pushing 353.85 whp and 348.44 ft/lb on stock internals:
