Comparing the longevity of a protege motor to a camaro's is a very bad start.

In a built motor with the boost turned up all you'll be worried about is traction...

ok guys...me i run a zex 55 wet shot on my stock motor and he work very well.11 psi...before i broke a lot of engine wit juste up the boost and lets go..now i have upgraded ic,hard piping, motor mount,afc,exaust, cai and order goodies...so this summer no zoom zoom bomm .juste zommmmmmmmmm zommmm phisss..lllolo..my am not scarry with the nitrous because it beter cool in your cumbustion chamber...am fil up 5 bottle this summer and my compression ratio is very good to....

Okay guys, I ran a Zex 55 wet shot on my stock motor, and it worked very well. I was at 11 psi. Before I.. (choose your own adventure: killed, broke in, ran out of money for) my engine, I upped the boost and had a good ole time.. Now I have upgraded to an IC, hardpiping, motor mounts, AFC, exhaust, CAI and other goodies. So this summer my engine didn't die, just had the turbo and NOS sounds. I'm not scared because the nitrous is good at cooling in your combustion chamber.. I filled up a 5 lb bottle this summer and my compression ratio is good too...
 
dont take his advice the same guy has gone through 3 engines 6 turbos and 3 trannys benspeed that is
 
seriously guys, there is safe n2o use, and unsafe n2o use. n2o jets should always be around 6-12" from the throttle body if you're going with a single fogger. make sure you have good control over fuel pressure. use a wet system. make sure you know your bottle pressure. use 1 step colder plugs. retard timing.

it's not that hard to make a safe n2o setup, you just need to think smart
 
thanks for the criticism. i was just saying that his 200 shot did nothing and he ran it like that every weekend until he had 250k miles on his Camaro's LT1. never rebuilt. nothing. but since we're comparing "apples and hyenas" haha, why not have a solenoid that controls your nitrous? like as the boost grows, the amount injected shrinks. so, at 3psi, say you've got a 20 shot. 4 psi a 10 shot. 5 psi a 5 shot and so on.
