225 hoosiers on a 7" wide rim

my beef is more w/ the 7" width than the wheel diameter, although the diameter does limit tire (and wheel) choices. as long as the overall diameter stays reasonable, no worries.

well, neither of my cars could even remotely be called "powerful," what with 238 crank hp between them. :)

my 18x7 example was made b/c that's the stock size that will apparently come on the car i was referring to (the MS3). Stock class requires stock-size wheels; i've complained enough in other threads about the OEMs' relentless drive towards bigger wheels on "performance" cars.

Hmm... 18x7? Bleh. There are 18x7.5 Rota Subzeros that would work but not for stock class I guess :(

I don't even want to know how heavy 18x7.5s would be...I mean, yeah, high powered race cars might use them (even 18x10 lol), but our cars are definately not high powered...that, and our brakes are what they are too lol

Oh god the stock ones probably would weigh 1.22 jigapounds. The Rota ones ought to be "lighter" but still... then again the MS3 has 280ft lbs of torque which helps :D

But odds are they will still look absurd

lol, I was talking about the P5. They only weight what? 16 to 17 lbs? I mean, not uber light, but not really that heavy compared to 18x7.5s lol
