2002 Yellow P5
I know these sizes are close, is there any experience out there with these on a P5? I am looking at some chrome rims and tires on ebay with these specs (17x7 rims). I don't have my P5 dropped either.

a 225/50 will end up rubbing like crazy.....even if you don't have it lowered.

you could always get the set and then sell the tires and get something that will fit the car...as the wheels will work fine.

yea think about it...the 50 is a height percentage of the width...so you thought your stock tires with a 50 rating were big, thats only 50 percent of 195...now see a 50 percent of 225! ive never even heard of people using 225s period, i dont recall...to use them with a 50 series tire, you will rub with a piece of paper as weight in your back seat...not to mention they wheel/tires are prolly gonna weigh like 60lbs+ a piece.

Okay, thanks for the response guys. I thought the 50 series would be pushin it... Too bad, they were brand new.

just remember, its not necessarily the 50 series, but the 50 series in conjunction with the 225...if they were like 195's you could get away with it (just like stock)...
