Will 215/45 tires work on a 18x8.5 wheel? I have a lot of tire tread left and don't want to waste it or take the hit on reselling them.

Yeah, they'll be stretched, and the rims might look funny, but they would probably work. Can't be certain tho...

Thanks! I just don't want to have to buy a new set of beefier tires when the ones I have only have 8,000 miles on them. I personally don't think it will look good, or be safe at all. I think I will spend my money elsewhere until this set of tires wear out. When the time comes to make a decision I will. Thanks for the information!

Are stock rims for the MS3 18x8 or 18x7?

They are 18x7.5 I believe.

And you are highly likely to end up scratching/denting the outside edges of your nice new rims on curbs or other objects you get close to.

18 x 7 actually. The 2010 stockers are 18 x 7.5.

hey wont be outragously stretched. Depending on the brand of tire. Im running a 225 on an 8.5" and its barely stretched. Its all going to depend on how stiff the sidewall is really. I say go for it though
