Hello guys, I have a simple question for some of you. Does anybody ride on 205/55/16 tires? Just curious if there would be any fitment issues with rubbing. Thanks. (wiggle)

I am using 205/50/16 Blizzak's for my winter tires. It is very close to rubbing on the bottom of the struts. I would estimate within 2". You might be alright, but i would deffinatly talk to someone who's done it before or someone who knows what their talking about.

I have been looking at the falken 512. They seem to be a great all season tire. The best on snow without snow tires.

I'm using the Falken ZE-512s (205/50/16s) and there's no problems at all. Great tire. Any reason why you want to go to a higher profile? Because the 205/50/16s are already a little higher than stock.

U should check the rim/wheel/suspension threads. I think some other dude asked about this size.

I checked the threads and didn't find any definitive answers. I wanted to go bigger so I have a little more cushion on these wonderful michigan roads. (yupnope)

I'm trying to find out what the wheel offset is because they look sweet. Anyone else running 205/55/16? Please post your wheel offset if you are.

I was running 195/65/15 for my snows and there were no problems.

I'm thinking about 55's also

I posted same question on here a while back, and a guy from Utah said he was running 205/55/16's no problem. It does throw your speedo off a little.

I live in an area with bad roads too, and was considering 55's for the same reason, to protect rims and to give a little more cushion in the ride. Of course the handling won't be quite as sharp, but life is full of compromises.

i don't think that will cause any problems....would be more accurate with a 7 inch rim but with factory rims, it will lower the wheel gap.

205/55's (Azenis')on my stock rims, just noticed some rubbing today on the underside of my rear spring perch. Heard a noise going over bumps(kind of like a clunk). When I got home I checked the rear end out, and noticed the tires had been making contact with the struts. But I also run a -2 degree camber, so the top of the wheels lean in quite a bit.
