Does 205/55/16 tires fit on tein lowered protege5?
Has anybody used this size of tire with tein stech springs?

the tire will fit, but it will be a lot taller than stock. like 1" taller. your car will probably look like a dune buggy, even with the lowering springs.

not to mention the speedo/odo error. and the taller sidewall.

why not a 205/50/16?

NO NO NO....that tire won't work...its WAY to tall...you need to go with either a 50 or a 45....with the 50 series the speedo will read high 1 mph at 60...and with the 45 it will read low 1 mph at 60....which in either case is 1.7% and their diameter is within 1/2 inch of stock.

but with a 55 it will be 5.1% off and as stated...the diameter is 1.2 inch greater than stock.....

Seeing as the original equipment size is p195/50r16 on the P5 I wouldn't go bigger. you will run into clearance problems with that size tire!! Stick with a p205/50r16 also available in a Fuzion

ive put a 205/55/16 with 16x7 55 mm offset tires on my p5 and they fit, just barely.
