2026 Mazda3 Sport GT Turbo

Hi folks,

I have returned to Mazda.
Loved the Edge ST but missed the Mazda quality (and my awesome dealer) and also decided to downsize instead of getting something larger.

Test drove a few models (CX90 and CX70) but decided to return to my roots and take out a snazzy '26 Mazda3 hatch with the 2.5T. I really enjoyed it and was impressed with the interior quality and plenty of power in such a small vehicle.
It's no CX5 (miss the ambient lighting and ventilated seats) but this will do just fine I think.

Picked it up on Monday and awaiting a spoiler to come in so they can get that put on. I may go for the footwell lighting kit as well as I do find the interior needs a little something at night (it's pretty dark).
Happy to be back (although I never really left) and I will post some pictures as soon as the spoiler is on and we get some decent weather.

Colour is Ceramic Metallic with Garnet Red interior.

I don't see people downsizing too often. Smart choice.

Of the current Mazda models, I would feel compelled to take a base model Mazda 3 with the 2.5L and manual transmission, though I don't think you even can. The manually adjustable seats can be adjusted low enough for my height.

If Mazda makes a RWD sedan with their new inline 6 (Assuming it is reliable) that would be a compelling choice.

While I am more than happy with my Mazda 6 and intend to keep it, I am pretty set on a Subaru BRZ for my next car.
