2025 CX-70 GT PHEV...Yes or No?

Hi, we have a very good deal lined up on a 2025 CX-70 GT PHEV, a General Manager demo with 10,000km on it. I am hesitant to pull the trigger, partly because we would be saying goodbye to our 2015 F150, but also this would be our first Mazda experience and our second family vehicle has been Toyotas for 18 years (like the Highlander but $$$). I've seen occasional "I've heard" issues with this unit, and a friend suggested I post on here to get some feedback from those in the business, and from current owners. Help requested, thanks. - D.

Welcome @Cross3508 Thanks for joining up and inquiring…If you haven’t already I would check out this owner’s log by @bigsho

Sho's 7th Mazda!

He’s got a 2025 CX-70 and it seems to be serving him and his family quite well…Hopefully fellow CX-70 owners can chime in here also…Keep us updated if you can and enjoy the Forums!

My son traded his bullet proof 2016 Mazda3 on a 2025 CX-70 (same color as bigsho) end of last summer due to recently arrived baby & needing more room. 2 weeks ago at about 10k miles he got an engine malfunction warning which required the fuel pump to be replaced (under warranty of course). The dealer said that was rare but they had seen it before. Other then that he's been happy with it.

FWIW, I'm pushing 7 years on my 2019 CX-5 GTR with no issues although I only have 20k miles.
