2025 CX-5 heavier steering feel

Cx-5 GS Awd
Hi, I took possesion of a new 2025 Cx-5 this last week, Since its still winter, the wheels/tires from my 2022 were installed on the new one.
When leaving the lot, I instantly noticed that the steering is quite a bit heavier than the 2022. I also find that the wheel doesnt return to center quite as easily. As a result you must also center correctly out of turn because the wheel doesnt return completely straight. Has anything changed from 2022 ? I havent found anyone talking about it in a qucik search online.

Any opinions ? Vehicle does goes straight and tire pressures are ok.

Thank you.

My 2017, 2020, and 2023 were the same in that regard. It would seem strange that they would change that for the last year of the model.

Mine had/has no off-center steering issue. But weird vibration felt through the wheel (others have reported too) was much reduced by swapping out tires ($$).
