2023 Mazda cx5 speedometer is on but it won’t show speed. Hooked up an obd2 reader and it is showing speed to the ecu but the speedometer just stays at 0 as does the hud. 11046 software version (trying to get the file to update currently)
this was an auction vehicle that hit a deer. The abs brake module is damaged and I’m working on replacing that but from my research that shouldn’t have any impact on the speedo?
I’ve checked all of the fuses. Can’t seem to find the vss on the transmission to inspect but assuming that is fine if obd2 is reading speed. What else should I check?
