2021 CX-5 AC ventilated seats - coming on by itself (passenger seat)

Hi All,

I really like my 2021 CX-5 overall but I've noticed that sometimes the AC ventilated seats (passenger side only) will turn on by itself. Has anyone had this issue? Is it an easy fix? My car is still under warranty but my dealer is quite far so I thought I would check here first.

When I turn it off it seems to stay off so it's just once in a while.

If you're certain that no one is accidentally pressing the button (happened to me a bunch of times), the button is most probably broken and it actuates by itself.

The dealership will most probably replace the AC control panel (this).

There is a TSB for the ventilated seats.
Bugged computer module or something. Check with your dealer.

Definitely get that to the dealer ASAP. Hopefully it’s something with the fuse that they could change and correct the issue. I’ve had had a 19 and a 23 and never experienced those particular symptoms.
