Mine (2019 GT R) are unnoticeable on most roads, but there are a few back roads that are paved with somewhat rough asphalt (I wonder if it's done for grip safety in the rain), and the tires are EXTREMELY loud on those.

Like most of us, had I been given the option when I purchased the car, I would have spent more for a tire upgrade. But I'll keep these until they wear out. For "non-premium" tires, they hold the corners very well. I'm pleasantly surprised, and have been unable to make them (or the car in general) feel like they want to break loose on some VERY winding "No Posted Speed Limit" country roads.

I want to complain about the A36 because its popular to do so, but honestly can't objectively find fault.

I have owned 3 CX-5's and on these vehicles run stock Toyo's, as well as aftermarket Geolanders and BF Goodrich tires. My observation and experience is that the CX-5 is a compact SUV, not a sports car. As such I have not noticed any significant "performance difference" from one tire brand/model to the next.My recommendation to CX-5 owners/drivers is to replace your tires at 30,000 to 35,000 miles.
