2017 owners: trouble with Pandora?

I've noticed that if I leave my radio tuned to Pandora, then come back and start the car later it doesn't like to load Pandora. Sometimes it'll load but only plays for a few seconds, then nothing. But, if I start the car with it already tuned to the radio, wait for phone contacts to load (1-2 minutes) then tune to Pandora, it loads fine. Anyone else?

2015 here, it's pretty typical. This is why 99% of most American vehicles now days actually have a real satellite radio, and is one of my main complaints about WTF?! Mazda! Seriously?!
