2016 Mazda CX-9

Hey all, have the 2016 Mazda CX-9 GT. Have a question. The Mazda Service Department is telling me something that I am not sure about.

Question (My Problem) - The rear window spray nozzle is not spraying the water, it is dribbling down like a water fall.

They Said - that is what it is designed to do. It does not spray like the front windshield spray.

Is this true?

I'm not sure about the CX9, but in all the cars I've had with a rear spray nozzle (cx5, MPV, protege5 and a Prius), the liquid doesn't come out as a spray like the front does. It's more like a moderate stream of liquid that relies on the wiper to spread around.

I wouldn't say the liquid dribbles out, but it's definitely not as strong as the front spray nozzles.

I can confirm it dribbles down from some hidden spot underneath the rear window top plastic trim. My 08 CX-9 did the exact same thing.

My 16 CX-9 Signature does the same thing.
