2016 Mazda CX-9 Video Mailer

I occasionally receive promotional mail from Mazda in the form of postcards or brochures but today I received a thick and heavy translucent envelope that looked very intriguing. I opened it up and it startled me because it started playing a promotional video for the new CX-9! You can click on various features and even adjust the volume. It also came with a USB charging cable. It was just so cool I had to record and upload it for you. Apparently video mailers have been around a few years but this is the first time I've ever seen one. I showed my buddy and he said it was really cool but why spend so much money sending one to me and I told him that I had actually paid for it when I financed a new CX-9 and Mazdaspeed3 eight years ago. We've had zero problems with them and are both so much fun to drive. Neither my wife or I have any intention of letting them go also for the simple reason that they are both paid off! Zoom-Zoom

That's wicked cool!

I got one too - I wonder what this cost and how rare they are. I have a 2010 CX-9 GT/Nav and an 05 Mazda6 GT. Both paid for as well. I'm sure these were highly targeted ads to folks Mazda thinks are ready to upgrade. Looks like they missed the mark on ours too - Maybe check back in 5-10 years!
