2016 Grand Touring CX-3 Bose Amplifier Problems

:
2016 Mazda CX-3
My local Mazda dealership has just told me that my audio amplifier has shorted out and that they will be happy to replace it with a new one for $995. A company in Florida has said that they will repair and warranty my original amplifier for a fixed $199. My question: Given that the unit under the passenger seat is probably the amplifier, how do I remove it? Is there a video somewhere (I couldn't find one) or step-by-step instructions?

OK. I figured it out. If you push the passenger seat all the way back you get access to three pins holding the cover in place: one on the front and two on the top. I used my fingernail to pry them up enough to where I was able to grab them and pull them out. You can then lift off the cover. Next, you must unplug three different electrical connectors that are accessible from the front. Finally, use a 10mm socket to unscrew the three bolts holding the amplifier to the floor and you're done!
