Just picked up my 2016 GT last night and for the most part I'm pretty happy, the lack of a temperature gauge has me scratching my head but I'll survive

Anywho, my question is in regards to bluetooth audio from my phone - i noticed a bit of a hissing in the background when I tried it out this morning, and the volume was considerably softer than when I had sirius turned on (almost positive phone volume was turned up)...anyone else notice background noise/distortion when streaming music this way? Wondering if maybe I need to not put my phone in the tray where the front usb ports are, perhaps this is causing interference? any suggestions greatly appreciated, thanks!

Did you move the phone away from the USB? It could be the issue. I stream music all the time through a mount and have zero sound quality issues..as for the temp gage I find I don't need it as the blue temp icon changes shortly after the car warms

Try turning on the Bose audio pilot... I believe that has something to do with compensation of white noise .. I could be wrong tho

Edit: audio pilot adjust the sound bases on ambient noise and engine speeds/noise ... This might help. I haven't noticed any white noise in my 16.5 gt while streaming thru bt audio

thanks for the replies - turns out the volume on the phone was way down & from what i've read the white noise was the car's audio system trying to compensate for its low volume, as soon as i put the phone on full volume problem solved
