Well I did it. I placed a deposit on 2015 Mazda 6, GS. I just love the look of this car! I kept thinking my head, I should play safe and buy a Camry (I'm a Toyota owner now) but the styling is not even in the same ball park! I will pick it up in couple of weeks but it just the way things worked out, no biggie but it will give me some time to prepare for my audio install project.
I commute about 1hr a day, some times more but I spend my commute time immersed in my favourite music. It's like a personal isolation chamber to decompress from daily stress. So, high quality audio equipment is important to me but within the reasonable budget. I received my goodies in the mail order this week (roll of sound proofing mat, 6.5 image dynamic component speakers, alpine PDR amp and head unit+ GPS + back up camera) and I need to order some install goodies.
I wanted to thank all forum members who shared their audio install experience with the community. Without you guys, I wouldn't have been able to do any pre-install planning. I look forward to sharing my install project with the community, hopefully pay-back some karma.
