Can someone run out to the garage and tell me what tools are required to remove the MAF sensor from a 2014 2.5L CX-5. My car is currently at work so I can't check. When I tried to leave work today the engine would turn over and then die immediately, I did some googling and when I unplug the MAF connector the car starts up and runs fine, but won't go past 3000rpm I believe for safety reasons. I have a can of MAF sensor cleaner here at home that I'm gonna take to work tomorrow and try cleaning the sensor but I don't know what tools are required.

Thanks

Just curious. Why can't you have Mazda dealer fix the problem instead as your 2014 CX-5 still has new car warranty and you still can limp your CX-5 to the dealership with MAF connector unplugged?

After they charge a diagnose fee l0l.

If it's a warranty item, the diagnosis should also be under warranty.

yes, a perfect time to use the FREE MAZDA ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE and have it towed to vehicle and let the dealer fix it for FREE under warranty...(rockon)

So they don't fvck up more stuff?

Do the smart thing and let the dealer fix it. If you mess with it, you may loose the warranty for that problem. ed
