Has anything been changed in the 2014 model from the 2013 to affect safety ratings given by NTSB and IIHS? Was the 2013 the Skyactiv initial model of the CX5?
For the '14 year model, the addition of the smart city braking system has been added, so maybe that could bump up the score a bit?
The only thing that is missing so far is the small overlap test. I think IIHS is in the process of testing CUV's right now. They have already tested and released the results of the small overlap test for sedans.
