2013 hood emblem

I all I have plans to paint the front emblem red,buy was curious if the emblem comes off. Or just easier to paint it on the car? Thanks for any help

Are you talking about the chrome one? It is held on with 5 clips that can be released from behind the nose panel. There are some tutorials about it.

Yes I am referring to the chrome emblem on the front. You get to the clips from the ack I guess?
