I do know this, even the lowly 2.0 MT-6 would be a hoot on the Dragon.
Absolutely! The 2L MT-6 would be a hoot on the Dragon!
But by using the word "even", you implied the 2.5L would be more fun than the 2L! (oops)

Sure it would, even more so if the 2.5L was equipped with an engaging manual. My point with the 2.0 is that on a tight road like Deal's Gap, a lower-powered, good-handling vehicle could still generate a few grins.
I've been doing a ton of research and from everything I read the 2.0 is under powered when getting onto freeways and passing at highway speeds. I wanted to get some real opinions from owners with this engine.
My point was that on a road with so many low speed, tight corners, the 2.0L would generate a bigger grin (at least for me) due to it's more balanced handling and lighter weight. The 2.5L has over 100 more pounds in the engine bay, which is the last place you would want 100 pounds of extra baggage hanging out on a tight, twisty road. The 2.0L is definitely the sportier engine with it's rev-happy nature even if it does have about 29 fewer HP.
Plus, the 2.5L is not even available with the six speed manual.
