2012 GT flutter noise in drives left ear

Hoping someone has had a similar expirence that will help me pinpoint the source of a low speed "fluttery" noise on drivers left side.

Here's what I've noticed:

Happens at low speeds, less than 40 mph.
Doesn't occur going over bumps.
In the drivers seat it sounds like its right in my left ear.
Sitting in row two, it sounds more like its coming for the floor/ seat area

I tried securing the headrest in different locations, the seat belt clip higher and lower and those don't seem to effect it.

Really want to try to pinpoint it better before the dealer starts to remove panels and create different problems.

Anyone go through this?

I haven't noticed anything in my '12 GT. Have you cleared out the map pockets, arm rests, coin holder, child seats, etc? If not, and you really want to try that out to try and eliminate other sources.

Those things are all empty. Only "adds" are the Mazda all weather mats and they don't seem to be the source.

Very strange, and my ears are tuned to it.

I WISH my car made that noise... Awesome Reg! I'm a instant fan. (2thumbs)

Steve is this an interior or ext sound?

Interior. Seems more speed related. At highway speeds, never hear it, even on rough roads. Driving around town it's there.

If it's not wind related, maybe it's just a loose panel or door structure. Could even be a speaker.

You can play with the windows, sunroof, steering wheel and mirror to see if it changes while driving.

There are servos in the drivers seat and door that could make those noises if they stuck or firing off by error.

So I would noodle with these things, and search the other mazda car threads for the real culprit.
