Hey all,
We've had our CX-9 for about 2 months now. I have noticed in the last couple weeks that, if
we turn off the climate control (yes, we're driving), the display (on the upper dash) still shows that
its either on recirculate and blowing on the feet, or I can cycle thru different modes. In any of
those cases, it won't totally shut off even though I push the HVAC button to turn it off. The fan is
probably blowing at its slowest setting that I can tell (or not at all?). Is this normal for it to operate this way?
What's annoying about it is that you can't change the temperature, because you've switched off the main control.
And at least lately, since its been warm here (Ohio), the air coming in the vents is rather warm.
Is this similar to how VW does thier HVAC where its always on "vent"? At least with VW, you can move the
temp dial and partially affect the temp of the air coming in. Just seems odd that the CX-9 would default
to a recirc air setting. Not sure that it let me change to fresh air.
Curious to hear some thoughts on this.
