Of course, Ryno. My own view doesn't take away from anybody else's. It's just my own view- *my* reason for *not* doing this.

Don't get me wrong. I would like to be able to get even more acceleration out of this car. I just don't find the cost and consequences quite right for me right now. If such a kit were released, and in time, I found that people were getting results I could deal with (endurance-wise), then I might have a go at it. By that time, though, I might just find it better to get another car. In any case, I find it an exciting project, and I support it, interest-wise, but I can't honestly say that I would buy into it come the debut (But I do wish you luck, and I will be following this topic).

I just hope that our stock transmissions are up to the task and I'm speaking about the manual of course. I know that our stock clutch will not handle the extra power from a turbo so an upgraded clutch will be a must.

Thanks! It can definitely handle the extra horses. Mazda 2 owners in Thailand and Indonesia have been putting turbo's in the 2 for years now. Just like this guy. LINK. Just like he says. As long as you do a responsible job. As in an extra 50 to 60 horses and not something crazy you should be ok. A new clutch of course won't hurt. Check out his awesome list.

Add me, what happened? Interest dead already? Its only been five months. Too expensive? (uhm)
 
I haven't had an update from Dynotronics about a turbo in a long while. I was hoping we would. At least some updates on here. Nothing so far and to be honest I'm not holding my breath. Unfortunately.
 
I wish they would make it. Or at least some company would do it already...inside the U.S that is.
