I'd like the one with funny black concealment tape on it, personally.

If I was in the market to buy right now I would probably get a great deal on the remaining 09's. I think the performance improvement is going to be very minimal. Probably not worth paying thousands more for. The only reason for waiting would be if you are the type of person that likes to have the lastest thing out or be the first one to have something. If that is something that appeals to you than wait, if not get a great deal on an 09.
Like I said, if you had to get one exactly like the pictures show (I presume not finalized yet). There are pictures without the "camoflauge". Assume all options are the same, just go by appearance.
If I had to rate the 2010 ms3 between gay and gay, id rate it "flaming lame-wack-dumb-hideous-waste of production time. Not worthy of being a mazdaspeed." they seriously should be releasing a MSmx5 or MS6...better yet a MSrx8.
The ms3 looks too lame to be released and there are no performance improvements-what's the point of this car.

I personally like the hood scoop but the grille is a little happy so I like that a little less than the current style. I think the rear end is cool but I'd rather still have a single tailpipe.

Um...ok does that mean the 2010 ms3 likes other ms3's? Anywayyyyy.....well if it aint broke don't fix it? It's going to have some new options and a new look. It's called a face lift.

and, I have come to the conclusion that all car deals are the same, meaning the buyer will lose money. the last car I bought in 2008, I made a stupid mistake and bought it right before the 09 version came out, meaning that even though I had a decent deal on the price, it had an extra year of depreciation on it.

I think the 2010 model looks fantastic and the interiors on the 2010's are awesome. But the performance improvements will be minimal. I'm sure it will improve, but not by a life changing amount. All things considered the 09 is a better deal for most people. I would probably wait for the 2010 just because I like all the improvements and I like being the first on my block to have something.

It's too soon for another MS3! They should work on a MSMX5 or a MSRX8, they shouldn't just go right from one speed3 to another. I would really like to see a MS6 but the new model is a bit too cushy and big to really be a true sports car in my opinion. But who knows...

So far what we have learned about the 2010 Mazda 3 is as follows:
- same platform
- same suspension
- same brakes
- minor cosmetic changes
- same motor OR a slightly larger evolution of the NA 2.3
What can you surmise about the 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 from this? That it will
- be on the same platform?
- have the same brakes?
- have the same suspension?
- it has minor cosmetic changes?
- we already know it has the same motor and tranny?
It's hardly a complete redesign.
