2010 MS3 horn??? Beep?

The 2010's have 1 horn. It's a high tone located just behind the fog light on the driver's side. You can easily add a low-tone Fiamm. Auto parts stores like OReily's usually have them. Look for the Freeway Blaster Low Tone. I think they are about $17. That's the first mod I did and it sounds nice and loud now

The easiest way is to take the bumper off, but it's not necessary. I did mine by peeling back the splash guard. Taking the bumper off is a little more involved, but it saves time in the long run.

And yes, it has a wimpy horn. No matter how thorough you are in your research, that was definitely going to slip through the radar lol.

I'm sure all Mazda horns are plug and play right?

Yeah, I really don't get Mazda and its horns. My '91 Miata had a spectacularly wimpy horn, but I certainly didn't expect a similar one on a larger Mazda nearly 20 model years later.

The acces is very easy without pulling the bumper it is from under the fog light u takr out those screw under it a move the plastic and there u have it but u will need to do a wire harnes for the new horns

Accessing the old horn isn't a problem. Replacing it isn't a problem either. Adding a new horn to the existing horn is the trouble. Without taking off the front bumper, it takes a contorsionist, lol. Maybe some of you are double-jointed, but I'm not. Lol. It was a b****.

Hey Folks -

I picked up my 2010 Mazda3s 5 door (velocity red, 6 speed, Bose/sunroof) Saturday. I'm a happy camper, except for that horn! Really anemic! Back in the day I added little Italian air horns, 2 trumpets, about 5 and 8 inches, a little compressor about the size of a soup can, to a '69 Datsun 510 and a 1980 Dodge Colt FWD. The Datsun install was a snap, the Colt more difficult. With both of those I left the stock horns (such as they were) in place and used the stock wiring to run the little compressor, mounting it and the horns wherever I could find a place. I haven't had time to crawl over and under the engine bay in the Mazda. I bet it won't be an easy process.

Other than that, its a sweet ride. Reasonable grunt, very low wind noise, the Yokohama tires are a bit loud. Love the direct steering and the "right now" handling.
