2010 Mazdaspeed 3 Pics and info

All I care about is this: Does it hold boost all the way to redline?

Can't answer that question yet. There should be some first drive articles released after the car is debuted at the autoshow.
 
Question for everyone. How do you like the 2010 versus the other generations MS3? Should I buy this car? Despite the front end. I am talking about the mechanical, electrical and workmanship of the entire car?
Is this a better car than the prior year models? Thanks.

Going to wait till it's officially tested. Hopefully it's not slower. I might be in the market for one. I like my car but would like something smaller, with a stick, and I would also like to lower my car payments. My job is not safe. (bang)

But I was expecting at least a couple of more HP's. Hopefully the improved gearbox and the better gear ratios will not affect the performance.

From reading the information on that link I think it looks very promising. We'll have to wait and see until a production car is tested. I can't wait.

supposed to have a boost guage between tach and speedo as well...too lazy to look back to see if that's already been mentioned or not
 
I could appreciate a mazdaspeed team refining all the details walking away from a previous generation having learned loads, the new speed soon to meet 2010. They just made good better! Wipe off the smile off that face and I will stop damning it!

The smile sure grows on you, but it is there for a reason. I like it. Ok, not totally 100%, but hell with drag coefficients of .29 and .31, I will live with the smile. I sure love these numbers.
 
i saw a mazda 3 hatch in person, not the speed, and comparing the 09-10 side by side the 10 is defiantly bigger. it looks like a van when next to a 09....
 
The new 3 is 3 inches longer than the other years. Other than that, the rest is the same size.

The sedan is 3.5 inches longer, the hatch is only .5 inches longer which is nothing. Point being they are the same size so pretty much impossible for one to look like a van compared to the other.

A van. LOL (hand) The new 3 looks and feels larger than 3.5 inches. I guess since the interior is a new design, it gives it the apperance of being much larger. For sure, much better quality. I am very impressed. I test drove all of the the mazda line for 2010 and love the new 2010 3 SGT.
 
Heavier? You mean lighter(the new 3 is a good bit lighter than the old one) and with the new gear ratios it should be quicker. More structural rigidity doesn't mean heavier. The only thing I hate about the car is the clear taillights, but they are easily blacked out.

The 2010 model is heavier.
