2010 Mazda CX-9 pics and problems…Help

Hello everyone. I currently own a 2010 Mazda cx-9 AWD and I took it to the shop a couple of days ago for a leak it had developed and also a noise underneath. I received these pictures from the mechanic, can anyone help me by telling me what this part is and where I could find a replacement? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your mechanic didn,t tell you what it is? It is the rear diff, if it still works you need to get it sealed again, not change it...
