2010 Eyelids

just got my bayson r's, maybe the only set in Australia? woo.. lol.

thought id post them up, just a test fit going to get them painted this week hopefully.

I like the fact that they are not 'obvious' and dont cover 1/2 the headlight, but just enough to give it a slight evil look.

also fitted a sharkfin, so can confirm it fits 2010 (but unsure regarding us sat radio antenna base?)

hope the pics help some people who want to do some small/cheap exterior mods

Looks really good, i like how they arnt over bearing and not HUGE. Are they black or have a CF look to them? either way, they look great

Which ones did you buy and did you get them from Bayson R website? I don't see any for the 2010 3s on the site, on for the Mazda 6s. Not sure about the size but I am very interested in getting a set for my car. Please include link if you can so I can get a set as well. This will be a nice add on with the RA flaps.

Maz94Protege, they are actually ABS plastic (black) and although they look fine in the pictures they are still just plastic, so I wanted to do it right and get them painted (see pics below)

XspeedyD, sure just give me a few days, putting them on tonight and leaving on for 30+ hours before I drive it, hope that will be enough to get a good bond.

probably looks the same as the first pics but it blends heaps better now obviously.

I was going to see if I could use another set to wrap the headlight and just cut it to fit on the down side if you got what Im saying. Waiting until I get the first set in and I will see if its possible. Would just have to buy 2 sets but for $20 more if it looks good it will be worth it.

Also Maz94.... not up for painting them yourself? There is a nice site that you can put your year, make and model and order you paint in a spray can form. That is how I did the fog light trim and turned out great.

unfortunately because of my distance (AUS) it costs a lot more for me than you, same with that paint matching spray can thing.. why not just get a sheet of ABS plastic and cut it to shape?

I had took mine to a smash repairer and got them to paint match it, I have to say they did a fantastic job it blends very well (as it should) it set me back around $80USD to have them painted.

Will do, I will post pics when(if) I get them. I have been waiting for a week now just for the tracking# to be updated to where I can actually track them. The paint arrived today, now just waiting on the eyelids.

still haven't received them. I would think shipping from CA, they would have been here by now but the tracking# is still showing as "billing info received". Called Bason and they told me to just wait. This is getting a little ridiculous but maybe my patience is wearing because I want them. Anyone else experience more than a week to get these things??
