I have a 2010 3s Grand Touring (with stock xenons). I didn't like the color temperature of the stock bulbs so I got a pair of aftermarket bulbs. My question is, do you really have to take off the front bumper to be able to replace the xenon bulbs? I have removed all visible bolts/screws and still cannot remove the headlight to replace the bulbs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

According to a very reliable source on a very reliable -but unfortunately for you, french speaking- forum (www.mazda3quebec.com) yes, you do have to remove the whole bumper to replace the HID bulbs. This guy I know on said forum does this as a side line, and he told me there is no other way.
It's not supposed to be very hard, though: let me try to translate the little "how-to" he posted: There is 5-6 bolts under the hood, 2 screws and 6 clips in the wheel wells, 7 or 8 screws for the black plastic lip under the bumper and finally 2 screws underneath that holds the bumper in place. The bulbs are on the back side of the headlamp assemblies.
