Hello all,
Just created an account, as the wife and I purchased a 2009 Mazda 6 back in march. The car is 95% driven by my wife, but occasionally I drive it on the weekends and such, and have started to question if the rear speakers are up to snuff. Essentially, the sound output from the rear speakers, is very quiet and muted in contrast to the front. I've verified all Fade/Balance settings, and there are no preferences, it's set at equal front/rear.
I've adjusted the fade to be 100% in the rear, and compared to any other car I've ever owned, the volume from the rears don't seem right. Before I take it in to Mazda, I wanted to get some feedback from those that have a Mazda 6 (or if anyone knows if this is a Mazda characteristic in general). It should be noted, everything in this car is stock, nothing's been altered to the stereo in any way.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
