I had a guy come in to order one of these under similar circumstances. He said he was sure it was no longer inside the car. I offered to help him look,2 minutes in i found it under the second row seat. Spend some time with a good flashlight,you may save yourself some hard earned cash.
Also check the no mans land behind the third row,when they are in the down position. There are 2 flaps on the floor which you can lift up and see whats under the seating area.
