The one they have now just needs a sunroof and a decent stereo...
I think it needs a sunroof. My uncle had a aftermarket sunroof installed. From Holden the Monaco has a sunroof.

(poke)it's a muscle car not an econobox. if you buy a V8 with hopes of good gass mileage than you should lay down the piperomecandleboy said:Instead of a facelift, why not try and squeeze out a few MPG's for starters. As it stands it's getting 17MPG. You're not going to sell large quantities of vehicles these days with numbers like that.

^^87 sunbird is all that comes to my mind with the styling of that front end, that thing is hideous, i like the gto thats out now....however if i bought one i'd strip every gm logo off it and badge it as a holden
That looks terrible!!!!bazooka joe said:ouch! don't like that nose at all!
exactly then i'll buy oneHopefully they will decrease the MSRP price because $33000 is not cutting it.

misbehave said:For that kind of price, I would get myself a RX-8 or a STi.
Definitely need to lower the price tag if they want to complete with the imports.

mikeyb said:I would still buy a GTO for around that. The interior is nicer then a Infiniti G35 and it has 400hp from the factory. It does not take much for mods to make more power.
MSP #167 said:no it def is not on par with the g35 interior....its not even as nice as the 350z interior.
The trunk is so small because of American crash test regulations compared to Aussie. To bring the car into the US they had to relocate the gas tank, and the only place to put it was behind the rear seats. Don't worry, the next generation will fix this. The current GTO was just something to fill the void until a new car could be engineered.Tito1 said:The GTO interior I think is best, but only marginally so. But that is one ugly car. You guys are right on aboutthe front end looking like some older pontiacs, but this iteration just doesnt' work. And the rear end looks like a carbon copy of the new 'stang. GM just has their head so far up their asses.
T
he GTO has the potential to be a fantastic car (4 seat vette for much cheaper) but they just can't package the car in a way so that it appeals to the market.
In '04 they were too sedate, in '05 they got closer, but they don't make sense to the american market. It is a sport touring coupe with a tiny tiny trunk. Look at all other sport coupes on the market. They have need big trunks b/c this is america god damnit. And if our car isn't a truck, it better have a big trunk.
