I'm gonna be a sad panda if they kick the pants off the 2007. I hope it's just like the original mazdaspeed refresh, little changes like body work, and interior changes.

Yeah that was some funny S***. I was almost believing it till I read the bottom.

Oh yeah man I was believing it too and then I saw the user name, from the mazdaspeed6 threads, lmao... it was funny to say the least, and I'm sure other people were believing it too (burnout)

you mean you don't want the "ejecto el seato" option? (headbang)

They should just put an SR20 Motor in there.

Wait a second, they would fetch a premium 1 week before race wars.......

rb26 > sr20

I wonder if anyone is crazy enough to try an rb26dett swap on the speed6's DISI mzr? (lol)

I hope there are no changes becuase it will piss me off that i didnt wait a few more months to get mine!! Especially on the paint color. If they come out with whitewater pearl for the ms3 i will be UBER pissed!

I've never liked white cars........ not to knock anyone that wants their speed3/6 in white, but I've had 2 white cars and it's been my experience they seem to get dirty a hell of a lot faster than other colors....... but the same can be said for black......

Funny its always been my understanding, though an oxymoron:
White easiest to keep LOOKING clean.
Black hardest to keep LOOKING clean.

I love a clean black car and I think black makes the mazdaspeed3 look the least ricey and the most inconspicious to the law, the sleeper color is black for the speed3 I believe. I am in fla and as its started to get got here lately I've decided on silver. My buddys black 300c srt-8 lately has been crazy hot to get into and he's got very dark windows.

can't believe nobody's mentioned this... THE WHEELS!!! THey gotta go!! only wheels fuglier than the MS3s are on the MS6. go figure!

other than that, while black, red & silver are decent color choices... that blueish color has to go. replace it with that bright blue and you'll have a solid lineup of colors. I guess asking for a spicy orange is a bit too much so I'll leave that one alone.

I don't think they're ugly. I just wish they were at least 1" wider.

i love the wheels, if you don't like them you can always sell em' and get ones you do like.

Please Mazda Gods....

My Wish list for 2008:
1. AWD to kick WRX's ass off the line.
- Woud travel better in snow/ice/dirt/sand.
2. Roof Rack and bike hitch options for ski's/snowboards and kayaks.
3. Big ass sun roof!
4. More color options
5. 1.9% interest loans to compete with Subaru and Mazda's other lines.

With the following additions, why would anyone ever buy a subaru? They'd have them beat in every way.

Since I ordered an 08 I can tell ya...

You're list isn't going to happen (spin)

Well, maybe 4 and 5 will have a snowballs chance...;)

My local dealer offered me 1.9% back in March, unfortunately I couldn't take the offer at the time. :(

lol well I suppose I could also take the engine out and have a V12 installed as well. granted, there wouldn't be much room for cargo so that's probably a bad idea. Oh and... yeah, it would increase the overall cost of ownership just a tad!

seriously though... this thread was about what needs to be changed in 08. Though you may like the wheels (which, to me, means they've grown on you) the vast majority seem to agree with me. While they've grown on me (slightly) I still find them to be gawful (god awful). Imagine BBS style... MSP 5 spokes... or those hot 18" GTI wheels... pretty much anything short of hubcaps would look better.

I want to second the 1.9% idea too. Everyone talks about what a great value this car is. When you factor in the 7% for 60 months (pretty much the best you can get) it's not nearly as good a value as say... a WRX Limited (marked down to $500 over invoice) with a 2.9% for 60 months. That setup equates to a car with a slightly lower monthly payment. Not to mention real leather... sunroof... heated seats... sunroof and, oh yeah, awd.

But the MS3 has a better interior and handles slightly better. plus it's more limted so you don't look like yet another tool in a wrx. So yeah... the MS3 still wins but not by as much as it should.

If they get the financing down to something like 1.9 or 2.9%, I'll consider eating my words about never buying a new car again.
