Hi everyone,
Car: 2008 Mazda 3 s Grand Touring
I am trying to test the O2 sensors on my car due to a P0171 engine code coming on. I am measuring the internal resistance of the front two O2 sensor that can be accessed from the engine bay of the car. I am getting a reading of 5.9 - 6.0 ohms for the very front one and a reading of 19.6 ohms for the one behind the front one. I have a feeling that 19.6 ohms may be a bit too high but I am not too sure what the internal resistance of the O2 sensors should be. Can anyone refer me to a website where data regarding this is published? Or does anyone know what the values should be around?
I'm heading to Autozone now to pick up a Haynes repair manual for my car hoping that the manual has that data. But even if it doesn't, I figured it would be good to have a repair manual anyway.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
