2008 cx9 swap with 2012 cx9.

Has anyone try to swap the cx9 tail lights and head lights from a 2012 model with 2008 model?
Or better yet does it even fit.
I really like the 2012 tail lights of the cx9 and would to replaced mine ..
And what about the 2012 front facia has any one try to put it on an 07 to 09 model.

Headlights and taillights probably still fit, but definitely not the bumper
unless you plan to replace the grill, too.

Personally, I like the old tailights better.

Headlights (housings) appear to be identical, so I don't think there would be a reason to swap them. Fogs are completely different resulting in swapping the whole bumper (as Ceric noted)

Tails look very similar as well. If you can find a set cheap it might be worth it. But personally I agree with Ceric again, the older tails look a little less "swoopy" than the newer ones do.

There are some on here who have had issue with the aiming \ brightness of their tails. I have not had that issue, but I could see that as a good reason to want to swap.

+1 on the old taillights.

For the front headlights, i'm not too sure but there are differences between old and new grill area, therefore it probably won't be easy fit. I could be wrong though.
