2008.5 MAZDASPEED3 - Now in CRYSTAL WHITE and METROPOLITAN GRAY

I ordered my 08.5 in Dec. and just got word a few days ago it will be in Baltimore in 2 days. Then I just have to wait another month for it to get here to Germany.

the 08.5s should be on the boat right now... some may have arrived at some dealers or will pretty soon.... you will know that it is an 08.5 by checking the production date...anything from 1/1/08 will be an 08.5

well i just got back from my dealership today...(Eagan,MN)

and they told me that they will have the 08.5's either at the end of this month or in march. which is AMAZING.

But i also saw the metro gray on the 40th edition rx8 and it was a SWEET color. It was pretty dark which was good and it deffinatly has a blueish tint to it, but it changes with its surroundings ALOT. But when its glossy sweet it really pops.

go to your dealership and look at the new 40th edition rx8. the color is pretty sweet, it has a blueish tint to it but it looks hot

No Speed3 for Me

Well boys (and girls?) I have to sign off from this forum as I am not a MazdaSpeed3 owner as I initially thought I was going to be. Took it for a test drive over the weekend and the wife x-n'd it saying it saying that I looked like someone pretending to be a teenager!? The exhaust was too loud for her as well so I took it that she wasn't totally onside with it as I was even with the ZERO percent financing over 60 months Mazda Canada was offering. How could we give up this 'free' money!?

So since we were there (automall) we looked around and literally stumbled across a pretty smoking deal at Lexus. Yes, completely different category than the MazdaSpeed3!?

Anyways, we ended up buying the last remaining 2007 Lexus IS250 with 6speed manual and 17" rims. This thing only has 205 hp and 100 lb/ft of torque short of the MS3 but it is a pretty sweet ride regardless. Best of all... you might freak out on this (or perhaps not) the Lexus was LESS Expensive than the MS3!? After freight/fees/taxes the Lexus came out to $34300 after an $8000 rebate and included rim/tire upgrade. The MS3 would have been just over $36k! This is Canadian pricing of course.

So there you have it folks... I'll be driving in a completely different set of wheels admiring you folks passing me by in your MS3's. But I think I did ok with this deal and pretty happy about it actually. Cheerio all and pass safely especially when you see a Tungsten Pearl (silver!?) IS250 in the fast lane.

one of the sales guys on moccforums said that he has a cwp speed gt in stock now. the wait is no longer peoples look for it

Those IS250s are a dime a dozen around here... not literally of course. they must have some crazy lease programs or something on those... but anyway. nice ride... pretty big gap between that and that top of the line in terms of power though... they really should have given it a few extra ponies. 205hp for a big car like that just doesn't seem like enough... but what do I know? pretty stylish car either way. has a coupe-like look to it...

only thing is... it's rwd. so unless you pony up the extra dough for the x... you're pretty much F'ed in the winter.

just looked up that car on carsdirect... definitely no $8k rebate here in the states. freakin thing's $31k with NO OPTIONS!! lol $31k for a car with 205hp?!! I'll pass.... now if they had a similar rebate (about $5k I'm guessing) then we may have something.

but for that money... the G35x is by far the better buy.
