do they have a waiting list? they have a liberal cancellation policy so my guess is that everyone who's interested signs up to secure their spot and then just cancels if they're plans don't work out. if so, I'd think a bunch of people from the waiting list would get in

How do two driver cars work in a ProSolo? I know it got to be confusing at the Atlanta mirrorkhana.

They have the 2 driver car thing worked out pretty well for prosolo. If you want a codriver I would say go for it and don't worry about how it works right now just know that it works fine.

For a waiting list I would fax the registration form in now and call them on monday to make sure they have it and see what is going on as far as a waiting list goes.

Yes, they do use a waiting list. In '03 I was somewhere like 40th on the waiting list and made it into the pro.

Because you do all of your runs for each session back to back, having a co-driver is much easier at pros than at normal events where you switch each run.

I just signed up for the 2/45-35 event in valdosta, GA.

Gonna be fun. This will be my first national tour event. I am in SM so i am going to have to battle against a twin charged civic and a unlimited budget WRX (koby subaru dealership project car). Maybe the big honkin 275 wide hoosiers I just got might help save me some embarrasment.

So any other proteges gonna be there?

What 275s did you get that will fit on a MSP? I have to work that weekend and I'm still trying to save money for the new 275/35-15 Hoosiers and 15X10 rims. I'll probably be at Walnut Ridge though.

275/35-18. and no they don't fit. see the pic, that might clue you in.

the changed it up this past year. None of the drivers had to work. Some of us volunteered to work both days, all day. We got 4 free events, a t-shirt, and were well fed. Not bad for sitting under one of those pop up car cover things.

Well, next weekend's Tour/ProSolo in Walnut Ridge is gonna be really fun or really long or really bad. Mostly likely a combination of the three.

I'm signed up in HS. While I'm upset that the Mineral Wells ProSolo got cancelled, I suppose I'm ok with the Walnut Ridge Pro being moved to the same weekend as the tour. I need to get my two events in so I can do the Finale in Topeka. Anyone wanna bet they cancel the SLC prosolo? (rant)

What's gonna suck is that I have NEVER done a prosolo before, and apparently, I'm gonna have to figure it out real quick!! There's no way they'll be able to squeeze in practice starts and the whole event being done in one day won't leave me much time to learn.

Wish me luck!

Van

BTW, miata_racer is not too happy about the schedule change!

I wish I would of ran the National Tour last weekend on the 2nd and 3rd! A Crossfire took the top trophy spot in DS(headshake

My co-driver and I could of taken home some contingency money and some tires!

Beware the DS Crossfires. They can fit huge tires and have really good power + RWD. The Crossfire at the tour was 27th in PAX. Not too shabby considering the lack of setup time they've had. I'm curious to see how they do at Nationals against the top BMWs.
