santos, you seem to be the only cub fan with a level head that i have spoken to. all of the nimrods i work with have them winning the world series. they are morons. all they talk about is, "the cubs lineup is murderers row, blah, blah, blah."

the reality is that the pitching staff (especially the starting roataion) is weak, and that "murderers row" consists of 4 guys who will strike out 100 times each. i think 80-85 wins is realistic, which could get them a wild card in the weak NL.

the sox on the other hand did absolutely nothing to improve. i have been reading in the paper how they are 'hungry' to win again, which is why im excited. if i had to watch them tank anymore games last season i was going to put a gun to my head. i just dont know if they have what it takes to finish first. i still dont believe in the tigers. i think last year was a fluke. im more worried about the twins than the tigers. either way, im glad baseball is back.

yes i agree with that guy who said go cards....ill be at game 2 on april 3rd yay...but they are goin to be bad this year. cubs should take the division or houston. and then the other one should take the wild card
