Yeah, sorry I don't have a digital camera but even if I did I probably wouldn't of had it with me. The wheels on the 6 I saw were not the same as these pics. They were a five spoke similar to the ones they have now. The black centercaps were bigger than the ones in the picture and the blue color was a flat electric blue. I cannot tell if it was the same as the color in the pictures. I definately think the interior is a 100% improvementy over the current style. By the way wongpress, where did you get those pics. I could of pulled a James Bond and got some for myself. I thought they had a gate around the lot, but I guess not. I wonder if Ford had some Fusions around their parking lot. By the way, I have also seen a MS RX-8 around also. It was a metallic red with gunmetal rims. It was pretty nice. Again, it had mfg plates so I expect it to be the production version of the car. Unfortunately it had no hood buldge so I doubt it was supercharged. Oh well, I can't afford one anyway.

I am not digging the tail lamps AT ALL. They look like el-cheapo aftermarket units to me, especially on the wagon. Why do they want to cheapen the look of the car to ride the altezza trend? (My apologies in advance to them kids that dig the altezza's. sorry)

So far Mazdaspeed has built;
A turbocharged sport sedan with a 15 year old truck motor and almost as many bugs as the original FD
Another turbocharged sport sedan, this time with a new motor and all wheel drive, but also 800 extra pounds
And a N/A sports car that looks amazing and hadnles great, but isn't actually improved at all in the speed department

zoomzoomh, yeah I totally missed the Miata. I can't really think of anythign that's wrong with them though, lol. Needs more power, but that can be fixed easily. Everything I've heard points to this being the "real" MS rx-8, but I hope they do come out with an engine upgrade option for it. That would certainly boost their sales.
Actually I think it was a MS RX-8 the "metallic red" is not a production color. It wasn't the same as the normal RX-8 red. Plus the fact that it had manufacturer plates will tell you that it is a production or planned production car. You have to realize that these cars need to be road tested over a long term to see how they drive in the real world. Not to mention they want to see peoples reactions to the new cars. I also saw a Scion TC on the freeway months before they were released. Again had Manufacturer plates. They have nothing to hide since they have already released info and pictures on these models. I am not trying to sound like a jerk but I have lived in So. Ca. for 18 years and have seen many preproduction cars in the area for a long time. I bet people who live in the Detroit/Ann Arbor area get exposure to these types of cars also.
Yeah, I know, I have kicked myself a few times not having a camera, but I would rather save it for a new car. Maybe christmas. The color was a darker red and it was definately metallic. I cannot think of a car that it looked similar to.ZoomZoomH said:see this is where pics would've helped
