2006 3i- AT light on and not moving when in gear

I have an 06 3i with about 110k miles on it. Was driving home the other night and and got the AT light where it wouldnt shift out of 3rd gear, luckily i was close to home when it happened.

Went to go drive it 2 days later and AT light was gone, but when I put it in drive or reverse it wouldn't move anywhere. Had my cousin who is a mechanic check it out and we jacked it up and when put in drive the wheels would move but you could hear a loud noise coming from the trans then we tried putting it in reverse and tires wouldnt even move.

Just want to hear from others who are more familiar to confirm this for me? Thanks

How often had you changed your AT fluid? Did you check its level and color?

AT was fine, it was changed about a year ago. Cant seem to find anything else that it could be

linkage, trans control module, bad solenoid inside the transmission. without diagnostic codes or physically having the car to look at transmissions are kinda hard to diagnose right

there are sensors/modules that tell the transmission what gear its supposed to be in. the ecu i believe is supposed to send those signals to the modules.
i also have see where a hose was clogged or under pressure it closed off. It caused a stutter and eventually it wouldnt shift at all.
