I am trying to remove the soft plug located next to the oil filter from my 2005 Mazda Tribute. Can anyone tell me if this is a threaded soft plug? It has a 14 mm hex head insert in the center of it and the engine block heater I am going to instal in its place is threaded also. However, after several attempts at removing this factory plug, I snapped my 1/2 inch swivel head, as well as a 1/2 inch extension. Any suggestions would be great!!
