I just got my M3 yesterday. I got it for about $100 over invoice, then got another $500 off due to Graduate rebate. And I had to have the dealer find one for me, because they're getting the last shipments of them in now and they're going off the lots the day after they arrive.

I had thought about waiting for an '05, but when I found out the only change was the satellite radio, I jumped on the good price for the '04. Only thing that sucks is as soon as the '05s get to the dealer lots, the value of my car drops dramatically. But that doesn't matter to me. I plan on having it for quite awhile.

Edit: Is the Mazdaspeed version of the 3 coming in 2005? Or is that the 6?

$100 over invoice in LA

I purchased a 2005 black 5 door with ABS/Side Air bag and moonroof/CD changer in Los Angeles for $100 over invoice. Very smooth transaction all the way around. I purchased it on 12/29/04. The dealer indicated that the prices would probably be going up after the new year. That may have just been dealer hype but since it was pretty much a done deal with me when he said it I don't think his motivation for saying it was just to close the deal.
