2004 MAZDA6s - just got it?

hey sup guys, new to the forum, so i thought i'd start by showin' my car... i just got it a few days ago, its a 2004 MAZDA6s, A/T but yea... fully loaded tho.

just some pics i took when i got it...

Nice pics and nice car. I have an 04 as well, but it is the 6i with an MTX. On earlier models of the '04 with ATX, the transmission showed some problems by having shift locks or random jerks. I don't know the details and I think crossbow or someone like that can give you more info, but basically I've heard that the 6s ATX from '04 is nowhere near as good as the 6 speed ATX for '05. Since you just got yours however, you might have a late revision '04 which might already have all the fixes put in at the factory.

BTW, did you get 5 door or sedan?

mine is the sedan i hate the BOSE in it tho... but meh, no complaints... but educate me about the stick issue? anywhere i can read up on it? and find out what model my 6 really is?

there is another major flaw in the mazda 6 lineup...they can't fit in your livingroom but after that you can still say "it's not an accord" welcome to the 6 word...

Yeah why'd you get an automatic? Do you do a lot of stop n'go? I think if you're sitting in a lot of traffic everyday, then an automatic is worth it otherwise I don't understand why Americans go with them esp. on sporty car like the 6 or the rx-8. I'm surprised they even make cars like the rx8 with an automatic.
