2004 Mazda3 Timing Chain Rattle - How long do I have left?

2004 2.0 manual with 230K miles. She doesn't owe me a thing. I get a rattle/buzz from around the belt areas, sounds like a youtube video of timing chain rattle.

The rattle is only audible inside the car with the windows down on cold starts, and not every day, it's intermittent with some throttle settings (not constant at idle) and "goes away" after 5-ish minutes. I do think I get the timing chain "headwind" when I let off the gas a certain speeds/gears. I can hear it faintly with the hood open at idle when the engine starting temp is around 100F.

I intend to drive until the chain breaks and she needs to be towed to the junk yard.
Any guesses on how long the old girl's got left? 10K miles? 5K? Tomorrow?

She's getting PNO'd in < 4,000 miles when I'm buying a replacement. Then she'll sit until I can fail smog and get $1K for her from the G-men. Think I can make it? Anyone had similar experiences?
