2003.5 Msp.....

Just got off the phone (no this time I am serious) with the dealer and he told me that there will be a 2003.5 Mazdaspeed. The change is the color. He wouldn't say which but I asked about Lazer Blue and he said no because it was already on the production Protege`. Uh oh....guess the magic color game!

well from what i "heard"...there will be like sometype of grey almost like the drk gry almost blk...and then the orange....but then again this is the person that told me half of the ms-p will be automatic...so i guess since it is on the site of mazdausa there will be no a/t....but i even seen the write up from mazda usa themselves.....ahhhh fuckem all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool:
 
I know this has been discussed here before, but that is very discouraging. Why are we going to pay such a high price for a car that is not as limited as we have been lead to believe?

Did he say if it is a totally new run in addition to the 2000 units supposed to be produced or will they be included in the 2000 units (like a split production equaling 2000)?

I have to admit, that is a great looking color. I almost want to cancel my deposit and wait for the 2003.5 in that color.

And those headlights are VERY nice.

that is what i need some J-spec HID's....anyone down to try and get a group buy of the entire headlight ??....i am DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
How much truth is there to this? I'd buy that grey in a second over the two current colors besides the fact that it would give me more time to save up a down payment.
 
i don't know anyone that sells the jdm headlights...

maybe if someone has close ties to the mazda dealerships here...maybe they can order the parts overseas???

:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: HAVE YOU GUYS, NOT FORGOT, that there not coming out with another Mazdaspeed this is it the platform changes in 2004, there taking the ford/ Platform which is going to look something like the focus..etc. And the 2003.5 Model car all you guys are talking about and the Grey and color and Blue is the Mazda sport-20 Sedan Which comes in AWD 170Hp FS-ZE avatonic automatic. There i've said it, that's the new Protege, there not coming out with another MS-P.;)

Wait a second there the Blue lazer you're talking about is the Sport 20-sedan which comes with the AWD 170Hp FS-ZE engine Avatonic automatic. Here's the car enjoy;) :D http://www.geocities.com/negatize/media/bluegermanprotege.jpg
 
It seams like this gray color 2003.5 bussiness is speculation from whoever posted it first. Im just wondering if anyone has anything concrete on the new color or a *second* production run with that grey color. Personaly, i'm wondering if that grey is part of the first 2000 (probably not since it isn't on the mazda website now) and if not, how many grey mazda speed proteges are they making? How *limited* production is this car going to be anyways? Honestly, i think that color is bad ass and would take that grey over the black mica or the nuclear tangerine (whatever its called) any day. Honestly, :wtf:
