2002 Protege5 transmission question

I have a 2002 automatic protege5 and here recently it started to hesitate when going into drive. It shifts gears fine and the performance of the car has not changed. Is this something I should be worried about??

same problem here, It's been doing it for a while with no ill effects. I'm curious as to what others say.

hows ur break pedal?
does it hesitate when u move the stick or when in drive already

when was the last time your check the fluid?

It does it when I move the stick. Once in gear it is find! And it has been a while on the fluids. Would that cause it to do that?

auto or standard? n try not to move the stick if auto
and wear n tear would cause it, depending on ur mileage n maintenance

Maybe fluids. What's your mileage? I have the sportmatic auto in my 03 p5. If you change the fluid, change the filter as well. There is a write up somewhere
