Hi, my car has a bit of a rough idle once it settles down after a cold start. Nothing too bad, but it's definitely not smooth.
I cleaned the EGR valve a little while back and that helped a bit, but it still seems like it coughs a bit.

I heard that cleaning the IAC valve would help with the idle issues as well, but checking the mechanic's manual, it says I need to drain the radiator before removing the valve!?1

Have any of you gone through cleaning the IAC?
Is draining the radiator really necessary? or can I just clamp off the radiator hose before I take it off?

Any other tips would come in handy as well.
Thanks!

Why would you need to drain teh radiator to clean the IAC? The IAC is on top of the throttle body. The throttle body does have coolant hoses going to it and will leak coolant if you remove those and just remove the throttle body to make gettign to the IAC easier.
